Articles employing managerial models and tools in organizations, addressing contemporary issues of national or international relevance that promote academic debate and influence policy formulation, are welcome.

Target Audience: Researchers in the field of administration, as well as managers of public, private, and third-sector organizations interested in dialogue and innovation in administrative sciences.

Submission Requirements: Articles, Reviews, and Teaching Cases submitted to RCA must be original. Works published in conference proceedings may be considered by the Editorial Board. Articles and documents can be written in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.

Peer Review Process

Each article received by the RCA initially undergoes a desk review by the editorial team, which examines whether the work meets the journal's standards, whether the topic fits the journal's interest areas, and whether the text contributes to innovation in the field of Administration.

Subsequently, the article is forwarded to expert evaluators in the theme or method adopted, by the blind-review process.

Evaluators provide feedback on the work, which may recommend approval, conditional approval, or rejection. Evaluators are expected to contribute to the refinement of the original version, providing comments, suggestions, and recommendations of bibliographic references. Then, authors have the opportunity to revise the article according to the feedback received and submit the updated version for another round of reviews, which may culminate in the approval of the text for definitive publication.

Before publication, the article is reviewed for APA formatting and grammar.

Frequency

In line with the practices of the most renowned national and international scientific publications, the Journal of Administrative Sciences - RCA adopted a continuous publication model starting in 2022. This method allows for the continuous publication of approved articles, accelerating the dissemination of scientific knowledge and ensuring that the latest contributions are available to the academic community without waiting for the compilation of a complete issue.
